ANARKALI
The Anarkali Is one of the most loved dresses today in modern India. The anakalis are simply long 3 to 5 layered gowns that almost every Indian owns. They are beautiful long ankle length or longer Indian masterpieces. The embroidery makes them extremely expensive and almost not affordable. One Indian bridal dress I saw in India( the blue one on this page) was 500,000 rupees!!! That dress was rarely bought by anyone in India, but a lot more people bought it here in America.
LACHA
The lacha has just gotten in fashion! It is popular among brides, occasions, parties, you name it! There is already a broad collection of these fancy embroidered Indian dresses and the people who really love them buy these expensive dresses no matter the cost. The fine cloth, embroidery, designs, handwork, machinery, and tailor work make up most of the price of the dress. The rest are just accessories.
INDIAN JEWELRY
Bridal sets and other jewelry are so common in India and Indian Brides all over the world. Every women that is Indian has most definitely wore some sort of jewelry in her life. It is nearly impossible for her not to have worn any. Although most of Indian jewelry is very expensive, it is most definitely affordable. The detailed, handcrafted jewelry is most expensive, and of course beautiful.
BRIDAL INDIAN JEWELRY
As you can see above, Indian Jewelry is mostly made up of diamonds, gold gems, and many other rare metals and jewels. That is what makes the whole part of Indian jewelry popular and very desirable. Mostly women wear this, but men do wear rings and necklaces made for them in particular. If you ever go to an Indian Wedding, apart from the dress, the jewelry will most appeal to you. As a tradition, the bride has the fanciest jewelry and therefore, it is really such a sight to look at.
